Tantric sex

Tantric sex. Here you can read all about the meaning, the origin and lots of tips on the subject. You’ve probably heard the term ‘tantric sex’ before. Many people think it’s the same as Kamasutra. However, they are two different concepts.

There is a world-famous book about Kamasutra in which sexual positions are described.

There is a world-famous book about Kamasutra, in which sexual positions are described.tantric sex, also known as tantric massage or ‘sexual yoga’, is based on the teachings of tantra. This is a traditional Indian philosophy that is believed to have been written by Buddha. However, there are also theories that claim that it was written at a later date.

Tantra sex has long been practised in many Asian countries. Nowadays, however, tantra has also become very popular in Europe and America.

In the West, however, tantra is almost exclusively associated with the sexual act. However, tantra is fundamentally a spiritual experience. Tantra teaches us to be aware of our surroundings. In doing so, we sense what is happening to our own inner energy.

In tantra, the present moment is at the centre. Sex serves as a means of connecting with your own energy and that of your partner.

Tantra develops your senses. Tantra shows you how you can connect energetically with other people. It is an emotional connection. A fusion with ourselves and with the person we love. Tantra intensifies the sexual experience because mind and body come together. You experience new feelings and emotions.

In Hinduism there are two tantras: the right and the left path. On the left-hand side is the technique of meditation through sexuality, in which female and male energies come together.

Tantric sex. Tips and exercises

⦁ Stay in the present. The present is the best way to connect with ourselves and others without baggage or prejudice. In doing so, we do not allow ourselves to be influenced by the past or the future. Similar to psychology, tantra teaches us to focus on living and feeling in the present moment in order to achieve a fulfilling sense of well-being.

By focussing on the present, you suppress prejudices, resentments, doubts and fears. This allows you to stay away from fantasies and memories and concentrate fully on reality, on your partner’s gaze, touch, smell and the sensations of caresses and massages. It seems as if you are two new and unknown people. Tantric breathing techniques help you to achieve this empty state. These are used in the same way as in psychology to relieve anxiety and stress.

How do I achieve a tantric state? Before the sexual act, you can stand naked in front of your partner. You then breathe together and try to clear your head. This works best with your eyes closed. Concentrate only on breathing in and out. Do this for at least five minutes. As soon as you are relaxed, try to breathe synchronised in a second step.

• Eye contact. You can improve your connection with good eye contact. Often even more than with touch. It may be difficult at first, but once you are relaxed and have made intense eye contact, the rest will flow naturally.

• The control of energies (or chakras) promotes the exchange of energy. This exchange can be achieved through a mutual massage of the whole body.

• Exploration of the female body. Tantra is also known for the cult of the feminine and sensitivity. Tantra promotes the woman’s lust. She should also be able to determine the pace of the sexual act.

• Orgasm. In this step, we look for the signals of the female orgasm, which should occur first.

• Rhythm. Humans have a great ability to adapt. This allows us to change the rhythms and intensity of both foreplay and intercourse. Sensations can be synchronised and sexual encounters become more pleasurable for both.

• Orgasm control. Some people are interested in tantra because they are interested in controlling their orgasm. When ejaculation occurs, sexual energy is uninterrupted. If you can control ejaculation, this leads to a much longer climax. This can be felt throughout the body and does not cause a physical orgasm, allowing the act to be prolonged and the erogenous zones to be further stimulated.

Our advice

To practise tantra, it is important to push away everything that distracts us. Focus only on the present moment. Sometimes it helps if you blindfold each other. Pamper each other with caresses, kisses and massages.

Remember that the goal of tantra is the energetic and spiritual connection. Forget any traditions or other boundaries. Do not set yourselves any physical goals. Orgasm should be sensory and spiritual. Don’t put any pressure on yourself. Enjoy yourselves. Connect with each other. Feel good.

Conclusion

Tantra helps you to strengthen trust and connection and reduce stress and anxiety situations.
